Hi All, Booked  on the Carnival Glory out of New Orleans, looking for a pre cruise hotel that's mid way between airport and cruise port, not too expensive.  Have been there before so not interested in the tourist things.  Hope someone can help. Thanks.

Your best bet would be to pose that question on the Gulf Coast Departures board right here on CC.

We're booked on the Glory also for B2B 01/29/23. We left out NOA numerous times and stay at the embassy suites 2 blocks up from the port. We walk to the terminal (5 minutes). Prices are reasonable depending on when you go. We're booked @ $179/night. Good luck. What date are you sailing?

Is there transportation from the Embassy to the Carnival terminal?

Right now I do not think so, might want to call direct and ask. If not it is a really quick and inexpensive Uber/Lyft ride to the port from there. We have stayed many times at this hotel. Last pre-cruise was March 2020 (last cruise that left New Orleans) and there was not a shuttle but very easy access to ride shares.
