We have one full day in Papeete before cruising. We have a half day East coast tour planned for the day of embarkation. And a full day West Coast tour planned for the day of disembarkation. But what are the must see things while in Papeete?
Thanks!

Go to the big Market & wandered town - shopped for Pearls (we took a taxi)  and eat dinner at the food trucks!  We stayed in Papeete  before flying home.  We ate at the food trucks 3 times.  We stayed at the Manava Suite Resort - walking distance to the food trucks.

IMO  .... and I've been there 26 times  .... it isn't a walk you want to do from the  old Manava Suite resort (now called the Te Moana Tahiti Resort) on Tahiti to the food trucks along the water front where the ships are. It is a honest 4.5 - 5 miles.

But I do agree eating at the food trucks, visit the Marche and enjoy a stroll along the waterfront are sold must dos.
