FLcruisergrl Posted March 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2022 Trying to decide between a Silver Cover villa and a regular cabana for our December stop at GSC. We’ve been in both Silver Cove Ocean and Lagoon villas and thought they were very nice. I’m just not sure they are worth the cost, though. We’ve never done the regular cabana. A/C isn’t a must, so that’s not really a mark for a villa. I didn’t love the Silver Cove buffet the last time we were there. It was fine, but nothing as good as the beach club on CocoCay. Can anyone who has been there recently give an updated opinion of it? With the cabanas, what is the closest food option? In the villas, I did like the waiters walking around-do they have that at the cabanas? Finally, what type of cocktails are available at the Moët & Chandon bar that are exclusive to it? We just used the regular bar service last time.
Pitzel Posted March 27, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2022 The cabanas do have drink waiters walking around. For the cabanas, the closest food options really depends on which cabana you get. There is a food truck near the cabanas, though some of the larger cabanas are reasonably close to the main buffet area. We have done the large cabana and the lagoon villa (and have another cabana reservation coming up) and the biggest thing that we will likely miss with the cabana vs. the villa is having a private bathroom/changing area. Is that worth several hundred dollars more? Probably not.

Wish it did!
