Rare PammyMouse Posted March 29, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2022 We used FCC to book a cruise but will have some largish (like 2k) amount left over. Cruising again isn't really an option due to lack of vacation days. NCL's site says we can use this for shore excursions. Do we call NCL to do this or use our TA? We haven't finalized the cruise just yet, but we are just 75 days out. Or has anyone had this remainder refunded? We have been cancelled 3 times before this. I have really tried in good faith to use this, but it is not working out. Thanks, PM
kuku77254 Posted March 29, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2022 They won't refund a partial credit. Call NCL and schedule the shore excursions and tell them you want to use your FCC. Did you buy trip insurance? You can use FCC for that as well. And upgrade beverage and wifi. If you're going to be stuck with the FCC, book as much as you can for shore excursions. If you cancel onboard, it goes back to OBC which is better than losing the FCC all together.

Can you confirm that excursions pre-booked with FCC, that when cancelled onboard, in fact becomes usable OBC? Do you know if this FCC turned OBC might even be refundable?
