This month we have Four Thursdays to weigh-in

We can lose during this month you know and have many wins

 

April showers brings pretty May flowers

We can lose weight by not eating sugar or flour

 

By losing weight this month we will be a winner

We will be looking at the May flowers thinner

 

Eating the right foods make us healthier and feeling better

Nice if every day we could follow our plan to the letter

 

We our human nevertheless

Sometimes we are a mess

 

But if we try our best even with a bump here and there, we all know

We will do our best to keep trying day by day and never give up--we won't--no

 

 

T--Think

H--Healthier

I--Inches Lost

N--Newer Clothes

N--Need Less Food

E--Exercise

R--Run, Walk or Any Exercise That You Can Do

I had so much trouble posting this thread. Finally made it. Last week lost it.

Don't know why having trouble starting a new thread. So, hope it will be read 

by everyone in here and will write how their doing.

 

Others reading, join our group to lose or just be here to stay at your goal weight.

HI all!

 

Belle ~ thanks for starting the thread & the poem.

I've been a bad, bad girl eating too many treats so up 1.2 lbs since last week when I think I was up 0.4 from the previous week. Those Easter chocolates & chips are doing me in. When will I learn?!!!!

 

Have a good day & stay safe. They're talking about a 4th Covid needle up here, down there too? It's 6 months away 'til my next cruises & I can hardly wait.

Jo, yes we have the 4th jab here. People are flocking to it. Must admit I was caught up in the FOMO. Got it as a walk in last week. 

 

I'm only down 1/4" to 31.75" but I have a new problem. Calves. They always used to be so slim. But they're up! Rock hard but up. I guess it's all that hiking during covid but clueless as to how to get them smaller. My thighs have gone down. Guess I should just focus on better lab values 😞

weather has been great here.   Last surgical drain removed so back to dog park 2xday.   Wt within old range. I’ve also been bad eating jink ( rationalizing that I need calories to heal. ). 
 

will get my 2nd booster  don’t know when.    My  next cruise is In June -  

by then surgical swelling should be gone.  
 

Belle I periodically have problems  with site — when I do I go to tools - to browser- delete cookies and history - that resolves the issues for awhile.

Hello All,  I'm writing tonight so you can see it Friday morning.

Had kind of a busy day, did a little work (don't faint) went out for my son's

birthday (was in March but him and daughter and I were on cruises) Had

a nice steak dinner. Then I went food shopping, cupboards were bare.

Now to eat better that have food in the house! Oh and got a new printer today.

 

Are you all getting spam phone calls or whatever you call them.  Been getting

them starting like at 8 am of course don't leave a message. I don't answer the phone till I

know who's calling. Been getting them everyday. 6 to 10. Annoying to say the least.

I'm not up that early unless I have to. So it puts my day off because I try to back to sleep.

There was some kind of law passed last year, things got better, now of course "they"

found their way around it.

 

Izena glad you got your drains out and weight is at your goal. You worked hard and a new bod.

Since got my booster in Jan. can't get till May but I'm waiting till June, cruise in July.

 

Ombud you built muscle walking. Be happy that your thighs have gone down. What all

women want, men I don't know. Your doing good losing inches.

 

Jo I thought you were on a cruise. You go in July/August? Sorry you had a gain, I know the candy

and chips call your name. Does it to a lot of us even when wearing ear plugs!😀

Have to ignore the "sweet voices"  and just say NO!  Sounds easy we all know it's not

 

Everyone have a good Friday and weekend. In weather, doing fun things and in our eating.

Everyone having a good day.  I hope so.

 

Forgot to say I did lose a few pounds whether water weight or gained weight

 but it's gone. What I'm doing which I've mostly done. Is have my main meal for lunch

and a light dinner or just a snack if not hungry. Know easier to do if you're the only one

might be harder if have husband/family.  Think this way more time to burn off the calories.

Some days can't do it like if going out to dinner but then eat less during the day.

 

One tip for losing weight. What is your tip?

Hope you're enjoying your weekend but it's sad I come in here and nobody

has been here to say hello.

 

Hope you're eating is going alright and you're holding your own.

Maybe some exercise going on, not so much here but eating

is doing good so far.

Hi all!  Back on dry land (for a short time).  We leave out at the end of the week to get on Celebrity Apex for a 7 day.  Clothes are getting tight.  Not good but not cruising in June or July so will have to really work on it then😁.  Last 14 day on Celebrity was wonderful.  Won upgrade to suite from balcony.  Only thing I won....casino was tough.  Didn't get to snorkel but one time.  The wind in Caribbean was also tough and made the water rather rough.  But the sun was wonderful.  Came home to see all my azaleas flowers on the ground.  Hate I missed seeing them.  They are usually beautiful.  Not as pretty as the ones on The Masters...but close.  I will still check in all along because I will need A Lot of support this summer.  Later....Susan

Yes, you have had quite a few cruises-as you know-the sea air shrinks clothes!😄

 

Lucky you have another one coming so soon. I got off 2 weeks ago and not going

again till July for 3 b2b'a.. I just book another for the end of August because the deal

was so good, free balcony, perks and money.  I wish I could go on one tomorrow,

 

Hope you come in before you leave and say where going and then keep coming back

after your cruise. Bon Voyage!

Does everyone have the Monday Blues?  Did you eat too much this weekend and don't want

to come on and say Hello. You can come in anytime no matter what.

 

How was it?

1--was good in my eating

2--was semi-good

3--semi-bad

4==bad

 

New day--new start

 

I was semi-good but happy no gain but sad no loss.

Things quiet here.   Trying a different eating plan.  Yesterday felt weird again so when I got home checked everything. BP, PULSE, OXYGEN SATS, BLOOD SUGAR.  I everything good - glucose a little low at  83.  So going to eat as soon as I wake up ( oatmeal with 2 egg whites) then every 3 hours with lots of water.   Felt better at park today.  
 

Scales still not showing a loss from surgery.  Still in my range and belly looks pretty good.  I’m content.  Getting restless want to travel.

I know to quiet. I try to get everyone talking but not working.
