thornegirl Posted April 14, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2022 If anyone has been on Iona could you advise what time the departure time is. Its only saying depart afternoon on the itinerary. I'm trying to book Flor & Fjaere independently as the excursion through P&O has been cancelled. The trip would return to Stavanger at 4.30 in the afternoon. thornegirl Posted April 14, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted April 14, 2022 Thanks for the information. I’ll email them to double check the times. But it may be too tight, don’t want to be late for the sailing.
davecttr Posted April 14, 2022 #4 Share Posted April 14, 2022 I have booked the afternoon Pulpit rock excursion and it takes some time including a stop for coffee and cakes.

Look at the P&O excursions. See what time they leave and duration, then you can see what time they get back. Does yours fit that time frame. I have been caught out by the port timetable before in that the all aboard time was 2hrs before the port ship depart time which led to our private excursion cutting it pretty close. I found the port web port times to be pretty accurate (e.g. when ships actually arrive and depart) but haven't yet figured out the logic for disembark and all onboard times - I guess it always varies because it depends on ship and port? Also, be aware of P&O excursions for start times as I have seen priority disembarkment given to ship tours in the past but that may have been when tenders were involved.
