Billing onboard charges

Sorry, another question. How do they typically handle credit card charges over such a long trip. Our Royal cruise has 4 segments, is it normal to bill at the end of each, or monthly/weekly.

No info from Royal yet. They probably don't even know anyway

This may vary from cruise line to cruise line.  If I recall accurately, for HAL, I had a choice of having the credit card billed after each segment or at the end of the cruise.  The card I was using had a high credit limit and I chose to have the card billed at the end of the world cruise.  I kept an eye on my onboard statement, however.  But, I did not come close to having my onboard charges even match my card's credit limit.

You recall correctly - you have the option to pay monthly or at the end.   But you are asked to settle any disputes monthly and not wait until May to argue about the drink in the Theatre back in January.   I have attached a copy of the letter from 2016.   It was the same on 2018 and 2020 for HAL
