Car rental return to Port Everglades

Does anyone have experience with Sixt Rent a Car at either the airport or downtown office (2 miles from port)?

Is there a shuttle or taxi or anything else?

There is no shuttle service from Port Everglades to FLL. That service was discontinued approximately four years ago. A cab from Port Everglades to FLL is approximately twenty dollars plus tip for the short ten minute ride. You would have to call and check to see if Sixt provides shuttle service to their downtown Fort Lauderdale location.

Avis/Budget "across the street" has a free shuttle service. We prefer Sixt for their European cars most of the times but have used Budget last March and were very pleased with their service and being one of the few (if not the only) with a shuttle to Port Everglades, very convenient.
