NCL out of NOLA

My experience was different than many people. From advice I read here and from someone local that cruises NCL, getting to the port early (9AM) is key. We waited about 2 hours, but that was sitting. Others waited about the same, but standing in lines. I am so glad I read getting to the part after 11AM is a nightmare and those that did were in for long waits standing.

Get there early, check-in is efficient, and just relax while sitting instead of standing.

Last march we spent over an hour in line.  The port had personnel at three different points examining covid test results, vaccination status, and boarding passes.  I can understand one check point, but three? There was also a couple of people walking the lines admonishing people for improper mask wear which was a total waste of time since as soon as the mask checkers moved on, the improper wear returned.
