Does anyone remember the cotton candy? I think I’m the only one that liked it. I’m such a kid! 😛

We traveled on the Zuiderdam for 4 weeks in January and fell in love with the Canaletto after tolerating it for many years.  The wait staff was off the chart good.   And, no, one can't substitute specialty dining venues from the offered choices.  I tried.

Yes.  Never did like it even when I was a kid.  It made my face sticky when I tried to eat it.

Loved it and loved the "strolling" antipasto course!!

When Canaletto first opened, the waiters/waitresses would carry a large Antipasto platter from table to table and you would choose whatever you wanted. Meats, cheeses, marinated veggies.... It was awesome!

We're just off the Nieuw Amsterdam in Alaska, and ate at Canaletto and Pinnacle Grill on May 15/16 - glad it was a promotional from HAL, because we definitely didn't think the food or the service was any better than the Main Dining room. We would not pay extra for it. It was good - but not any better.
