Belfast - getting from ship to city center & back

It's hard for me to admit this but ~~~~  I have sustained an injury that will prevent me from standing for a long period of time.  So I can't take the ship shuttle into Belfast.  I walk just fine but only for a few miles but I can't stand.

 

Does anyone know whether or not the taxis take charge cards? If not, do you know how many £s I'll need? Or is there a city bus at the port?? A taxi would be preferable,  bus 2nd option. It's close so usually I'd walk but I don't know the terrain ..... I know I can't take the ship shuttle as that would require standing in line

Hoping @VMax1700will have the answer. I'm very frustrated with myself but still want to go. Obviously Waterford is now out  .....

The taxi company that we use when in Belfast is Value Cabs https://www.valuecabs.co.uk/ and they do take credit cards ok.

The other major taxi company is FonaCab https://www.fonacab.com/index.php and I understand that they also accept cards.

Since Covid the use of cash has decreased drastically for all transactions.  I cannot remember the last time that I used cash!

There was a line of taxis right outside the ship and the price was similar to our return trip via Uber.    Note that our particular taxi did not take credit card, but I think other taxis may have.   Our taxi took pounds or euros.  We took the taxi to the titanic museum, then we walked from museum to central downtown, then uber back.
