victory2020 Posted June 2, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2022 Hello, I haven't sailed Oceania for a while & have never sailed the Regatta and have a few questions. I understand on an 8 day cruise you are able to book specialty restaurants twice. As I'm seeing it there are two specialty on board? Also, can you use OBC for the casino? My travel agent also told me that if you test positive pre cruise you can request a refund rather than a future credit? I also remember you can bring wine/ sprits onboard? Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance Yes, two specialty restaurants. Polo and Toscana. Depending on your cabin category you may book a total of two nights, or four. I’m not sure which categories allow four. You cannot use non-refundable OBC in the casino. I don’t know about other OBC, my *guess* is no. Someone else may know for sure. Yes, you may bring wine and spirts aboard for use in your cabin. You may bring wine to the dining room and pay a corkage fee, any unfinished wine will be stored for you and can be served at any restaurant. From Oceania’s FAQ’s: Will I be issued a refund if I am denied entry to the country where the voyage originates (port of embarkation)? If guests, members of their parties, and others traveling with them are denied entry due to a positive COVID-19 test within 2 weeks of their sail date, they will be entitled to either a refund or a Future Cruise Credit (“FCC”) for the amount paid. All refund requests must be made within 90 days of the date guests are denied entry to the country, or they will be entitled to a Future Cruise Credit. To apply for a refund, please contact our Guest Relations Department. If a guest is denied entry due to non-compliance with travel requirements and/or health and safety protocols, a refund will not be provided. Rare JoePDX Posted June 2, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 2, 2022 For refundable OBC you can always go to Guest Relations and request it paid out in cash, and then use that in the Casino. Not sure if you can use directly without getting cash, as I am not a gambler. 🙂 Joe

Can't cash it in until the day before disembarkation, leaving just a few hours to blow your refunded cash in the casino. Which, in our case, usually doesn't take long....
