Susanb10567 Posted June 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2022 While on the Edge in March there were no cookies offered at Cafe Al Bacio. I found that so odd. We always enjoyed picking up a cookie with our coffee. It is a lot easier a snack to go versus a piece of cake. Our butler was able to deliver some to our cabin…but I thought it was very strange that they didn’t have any at the coffee bar. Just curious if they have returned? Some of the best cookies (and brownies) at sea are on the E-Class at the Eden Cafe, unfortunately only available during lunch hours on sea days.
Alakegirl Posted June 10, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2022 That’s very interesting. They don’t mix up the ingredients and bake them on board. It all comes prepackaged from Miami. Maybe somebody forgot to load that pallet onto the ship?
39august Posted June 10, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 10, 2022 On Equinox in May the cookies were available at the ice cream station in the OVC every day and were sometimes at the gelato station and sometimes at Cafe Al Bacio.

durberville Posted June 10, 2022 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2022 Summit cookies are awful. Hard, dry store bought looking/tasting things…usually only chocolate chip or sugar free PB. They used to have great cookies. We’ve been so disappointed in Cafe al Bacio offerings this cruise.
danv3 Posted June 10, 2022 #7 Share Posted June 10, 2022 Does X usually offer coconut ranger cookies like RCI? Those are awesome.
Bru92 Posted June 10, 2022 #8 Share Posted June 10, 2022 Cookies were available at the Cafe al Bacio in the afternoons on the Apex last month.
Luvcrusn Posted June 10, 2022 #9 Share Posted June 10, 2022 They were available on Equinox at the ice cream station in OVC as well as at Cafe al Bacio daily.
39august Posted June 10, 2022 #10 Share Posted June 10, 2022 No coconut ranger cookies, sorry to say. They do usually have gluten free coconut macaroons at either Cafe Al Bacio or the gelato station. Very sweet and gooey.
Happy Cruiser 6143 Posted June 10, 2022 #11 Share Posted June 10, 2022 I didn't notice they were gone. They were available on the Summit in April and May.
Barb1403 Posted June 10, 2022 #12 Share Posted June 10, 2022 On the Apex in April we asked our Retreat Host to please bring us cookies each day! Unbelievable, he went to Eden Cafe and brought us the BEST chocolate chip cookies we have ever experienced!

If anyone finds themselves at a 7 ELEVEN, they sell 2 fresh baked cookies for a dollar with a variety of flavor; I couldn't believe it but they 99%er cookies. Rare Jim_Iain Posted June 11, 2022 #14 Share Posted June 11, 2022 Cookies were available in both al Bacio and Ocean View in Ice Cream area. They had the "healthy" ones in Aqua Spa Cafe

viperfoth Posted June 11, 2022 #16 Share Posted June 11, 2022 Equinox in April only had on OVC. I love getting them at team time and really missed them in Cafe Bocio. Wrote on my comment card about it. 😀
Rare bjahil47 Posted June 11, 2022 #17 Share Posted June 11, 2022 On the Equinox in April they did not have my beloved gluten free macaroons at Cafe Al Bacio. Two days later I mentioned it to the Retreat manager. Next day I had a dozen vanilla and a dozen chocolate in my room! Lasted me the rest of the cruise,
broadwaybaby123 Posted June 11, 2022 #18 Share Posted June 11, 2022 I don't know about Celebrity, but I cruised on Royal in April, they're owned by the same company. Royal allows you to take cookies back to your room. We did it at least twice.
Redtravel Posted June 11, 2022 #19 Share Posted June 11, 2022 On Summit now. Al Bacio has cookies.

Celebrity does as well, and not just the cookies, they’ll put any of their desserts (at Al Bacio) in a paper bag for transport. We’ve often taken our to go coffees and a bag of cookies up to the sky lounge in the morning and enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing view…can’t wait until September 🚢 😋

Lastdance Posted June 11, 2022 #22 Share Posted June 11, 2022 I finally just read this thread, as originally, I thought it was about another definition for cookies, the ones that attach themselves like text pieces of data. I hate those cookies, but glad to hear about the great and edible ones on Apex!
