My husband is taking his dinner suit as usual. 🙂

He might be sitting next to a bloke with baseball cap, t shirt, footie shorts and k mart thongs in the mdr by the sound of it. Not right.

Disembarked this morning. Don’t think I saw any guys in a tie. Did see some jackets.  Also saw the usual shorts and caps during the dinner service.

We were on the same Cruise, we wore dark pants and smart shirt and my wife wore smart casual dresses.

There was shorts, T shirts and even football jerseys in the MDR, very few Jackets.

I would prefer that they enforced smart casual as a minimum, but hey I am getting old 😀

You were on a 3 day cruise - no formal, no need for formal clothes 😉

Noo, waste of energy carrying all that luggage.

You are bagging people for wanting to wear a suit on their cruise, and this profile pic shows a person wearing a suit. Go figure.

Actually I hope they enforce the formal night dress code on a seven night cruise. I saw them do that on Ruby in Dec 2019. They turned some guys away from the MDR because they were wearing thongs or something.

Shorts and thongs will prevail, lol

Les, When was the last time you were on an Australian-based Princess cruise? 🙂

I have never seen shorts and thongs permitted in the dining room on any evening, let alone formal night.
