Family with Teens

We are planning a Alaskan cruise next summer with family of 4 on Holland America. Should we do 2 connecting balcony cabins or 1 Neptune Suite? Around the same price. We are Cruise rookies.

What are the sleeping arrangements in the Neptune suite?  Will the 3/4  Ed’s be a foldout couch?  There appears to be only one bathroom.  If you get two connecting cabins each person will have their own bed, and you will have two bathrooms…. EM

Definitely get 2 cabins. Having that extra bathroom is great! Plus more privacy for the grown ups. I will never cram 4 of us in a cabin again. Did that when the kids were 5 and 7. Now they are 11 and 13 and we need our own space.

Another vote for 2 cabins.  We have teens that take a long time in the bathroom, so 2 bathrooms are much more convenient.
