Will we have time to get to the airport for a 10:40am flight?

We have a choice of either a 10:40am flight or a 5pm flight.  We don't want to hang out all day at the airport, but we are not sure we can get to the airport on time for a 10:40am flight.  We always walk off with our luggage, so we can get off the ship quickly.  We are spending a few days in Boston prior to our cruise, so our preference would be to take the earlier flight if it is doable.  Thoughts?

That's pushing it.  If you book it, worse case scenario is you get the 5PM flight.  You will need to reserve an UBER. There aren't as many taxi's around like there used to be. If you are a gambling person, its worth a try.  The airport isn't that far but they do need to go through the Ted Williams Tunnel (toll) I believe.

So the Sumner tunnel is going to be closed on weekends for the next year, which means traffic to Logan will be rerouted through the Ted Williams Tunnel. From the Seaport, the normal route is through the Ted Williams Tunnel and normally wouldn't have much traffic on a Saturday morning. With everyone now taking the Ted Williams Tunnel, it might be worse than before.

That being said, when I came into Boston pre-Covid, I was off the ship by 8:15 or so, and I was in no rush (back then, I lived walking distance to the port). I think a 10:40 flight is probably doable if you hustle.

Thanks for the advise and info.  I think we can do it!
