Barbados Botanical Gardens

I am trying to fit some botanical gardens into an upcoming cruise.  I noted that Barbados has a few.  Does anyone have any recommendations or advice.  I would like to spend at least a few hours, maybe more, at the gardens.  Which garden? Recommendations on transportation or guide service?

Best informative guided tour, in DW opinion, was Andromeda.  Excellent value, think it was a flat fee of $100 regardless of number.  A small gratuity is greatly appreciated.

Best to check direct as to any current COVID restrictions.

Taxi from Cruise Terminal and work on maximum of $50 including tip.

I highly recommend Hunte's garden. Andromeda is beautiful too, but on the east coast. Hunte's is in the center of the island and Anthony Hunte lives there and is a wonderful host.

We also really enjoyed Hunte's garden.  Mr. Hunte is an amazing person to talk with, and is a very genial host.  In addition to his beautiful plants, he also has some unique sculptures throughout his garden.
