When these first came into use they were a series of various American cities. I recall Seattle, New York and New Orleans were in the mix. Maybe all that's left are the Hollywood plates no one wanted to lift. 🙂

believe me, I sail outta G town more than anywhere else! It’s just not a very scenic Sailaway, unless you’re really into industry. 😂

Ship nerd alert: I had a lot of fun standing with some folks watching them “reel” the lifeboats back in. I’m not certain I’ve ever watched this process in all my cruises prior. Very cool!

So to get out of the Juneau harbor, we had to pull a full 180…. So I got these unusual perspectives of us pointing directly at each of the other ships, as if a very unfortunate nautical t-bone was about to go down….

Again, really dig this Alchemy area with so much room, the stage, comfortable spread out seating….

Watched the trio while I finished my drink, then it was off to the lobby to watch Bri Zee go for a bit. I’m telling you, this ship had as many or more live music options than much larger ships. It was everywhere all the time.

they swapped out the 50th banner for an American flag for flag day…. Gotta be honest; didn’t realize it was flag day! I was even wearing a polo with American flags all over it and people were complimenting it real hard all day- had no idea why! Total coincidence!

After going thru these posts I'm now convinced all ships should have a scavenger hunt sheet with their interesting decor. Even better if there was a prize for finding them all, even just a sticker.

We'll be on the Spirit in August, with stops in Juneau and Ketchikan, and I'm already taking notes on where we want to wander. I printed up a map of downtown Juneau and marked the Triangle Club and Deckhand Dave's, can't wait to try them!
