CruiseloverfromGA Posted June 24, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2022 We are booked on the Apex in a sky suite on Deck 10 Forward. Another sky suite on Deck 12 aft just opened up. The deck 12 aft suite is actually on the stern of the ship. My girlfriend tends to get sea sick, but has never been on a ship the size of the Apex. Should I switch to the Deck 12 aft suite or keep the one on Deck 10?
Rare lv2cruisgrl Posted June 24, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2022 The best place for someone who gets seasick is lower deck and middle of the ship. So based on that you can decide.
jelayne Posted June 25, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 25, 2022 If you can get something mid ship that would have the least movement.
Nado44 Posted June 25, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 25, 2022 I would personally keep the forward sky suite. You'd have easy access to the Retreat spaces. And if memory serves me correctly, the Deck 10 forward cabins do not have the somewhat unsightly overhang obstructions that are more apparent on the higher decks.
Treacher1 Posted June 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 25, 2022 Also - the Sky Suites on mid ship NOT AFT have the great mirror in the bathroom that opens to view your cabin and balcony - loved being in shower and able to see the ocean! I don't think the room is set up that way on the aft cabins - if actual aft overlooking wake.
