TerReuv Posted June 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2022 I feel like I should know this, but we have reservations the first night in the steakhouse on the Horizon and my BIL will be using either a scooter or wheelchair. Will they already know that in the steakhouse if he is in an accessible room or do we need to notify them? Thinking ahead in case he has to stay in the chair/scooter. Thanks. CruizinSusan70 Posted June 26, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 26, 2022 No need to notify them and they will not know. When you arrive they will adjust accordingly depending upon the size of your party and whether your BIL will park his scooter and walk to your table or drive up to your table and stay in the scooter. The latter example would be the only reason why your specific table could need to be adjusted on the fly. If you want piece of mind, about an hour ahead of your reservation time, swing by and let them know if he'll be staying in his scooter.
Rare Essiesmom Posted June 26, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2022 Or he can ride the scooter to the table, transfer to a chair, and wait staff will ride the scooter to a parking place. And return to it at the end of the meal. EM
