Questions about using onboard credit

I know we can use our onboard credit for excursions and the spa. What about the casino, tips and The Sanctuary.

Also, it looks like we can't reserve excursions or spa services ahead of time and use our credit, is that correct?

TIA!

Yes, Princess Shore Excursions may be purchased before boarding using OBC. Everything else needs to be booked onboard. I do not know about the casino, but it sure seems that you could use those funds for that.

You can also use OBC for specialty dining, drinks, gift shop purchases, etc.

Casino - yes charge to your on board account and the charge will net against any credit (OBC) balance.

Tips - Spa service charges are automatically added to the bill. If you have beverage service charges, 18%, they are also automatically added to your on board account. If you add any additional tip to an on board charge billing that tip will wind up in the fleet tip pool. If you wish a tip to go directly to an crew member then cash is the way to go.

You can reserve excursions in advance and use any OBC that shows in the Princess account. If it doesn't show, like some T.A. provided OBC, then it can't be used.

You can not pre-book any other service or dining using OBC.

We've got $50 per person OBC designated for tours on our next cruise. I really don't want to do any tours. Can it be used for other things like in the shops, specialty dining or casino?

It's the first time I've even had any OBC like this.
