Boarding Documentation

Haven't cruised since the world shut down.  Prior to that, check-in was easy -- here's our boarding passes, here's our passports, thank you very much, move along.  Now, we're going to have to present boarding passes, passports, vax cards, and test results.  Seems like a lot of pieces of paper.  Carnival, in an email, mentioned VeriFly.  Does that really make things easier?

Verifly does make it easier, they just looked at it and we did not have to show test results or vaccination cards

Depends, sometimes you still need to show the paperwork.  I figure that lengthy time reported to complete  Verify vs the 45 seconds it takes for them to check my paperwork, I'm ahead doing it the old way.

You'll probably get glowing reviews of the drastic time savings using VeriFLY......we've cruise only 3  times post shutdown, On 2, we checked in the "old way" showing boarding pass, passport with vax card in same wallet, and then test results, was no fuss no muss. Cruised last month, used VeriFLY, saved a few seconds, but nothing "drastic". VeriFLY, verifies ahead of time your covid status"...vax info and recent test results you loaded into VeriFLY pre-cruise.

Even though you may be downloading passport information on line, you still need to have physical proof of citizenship (Passport, or whatever document you plan to use) to present at check-in.

We use VeriFLY and have the paper foundation documents handy just in case. 
Have never had an issue with VeriFLY. Quite seamless.

I’ve cruised 4 times since sept and the embarcation isn’t much different. Just bring your Covid test and you’ll be good to go. If anything it’s faster and more efficient
