scgssny Posted July 5, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 5, 2022 We will be arriving in Bermuda, on the Getaway September 24-25, 2022. We would like to visit St George's but the public orange line ferry doesn't appear to operate on the weekends. Does any know the current schedule for the complimentary NCL ferry from Royal Naval Dockyard to St George's and back? Thanks.

Anyone have a 2022 schedule. It is an old thread but there are current posts on the second page. On the Pearl a couple of weeks ago there was a schedule in the room. I don’t remember the exact times but there were several every day except for the last day, there was only one. It was very similar to that pre pandemic list on the older thread. scgssny Posted July 5, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted July 5, 2022 Thanks, unfortunately non are weekend days. Figure that it will be very similar, but trying to plan to get back in time for the sunset catamaran sailing at 6:30.

It just occurred to me that no NCL ship has been docked in Bermuda on a Saturday so far this year and the first ship that will is the Joy on August 20 so no one can say at this time exactly what a Saturday schedule might be. I would assume it would be similar to the Pearl's Sunday schedule as that is the Pearl's regular arrival day in Bermuda.
Rare 1025cruise Posted July 5, 2022 #8 Share Posted July 5, 2022 You will receive a schedule when you get on the ship of the times the ferry runs. For the Pearl, there was only 1 trip back/forth on Sunday.
Rare mking8288 Posted July 5, 2022 #9 Share Posted July 5, 2022 This was the Joy's May 2022 weekday NCL free ferry schedule of services between SG's and Dockyard, directly the ship's gangway. I looked back into the Breakaway & Escape's Fall Bermuda schedule and it's basically unchanged ... I would expect (not absolutely certain) - that the last (free) ferry schedule back to Dockyard will be no later than 5:15 pm on a Saturday. Typically, as others noted, on the last day when ship sail at 3 pm (ours had a posted time of 4 pm sailing home ...) - there was only one (1) trip going there & returning to the ship (didn't matter whether it's a weekday, Saturday or Sunday). Bermuda's ferry does NOT run on weekends to/from SG at all and local bus service is on a very LIMITED schedule on weekend to/from SG. The ferry ride to/from SG, weather permitting & safety (sea state & wave heights - it can be choppy & take precautions for those prone to motion sickeness) conditions met, is about 45 minutes on average, allowing time for docking & connecting the gangways, about 1 hour. "Should" leave sufficient time, but a tight connection, for the ferry to bring OP back and then do a quick dash down the long pier to the nearby catamaran location for the sunset cruise.
