MsSoCalCruiser Posted July 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2022 Hello. We are looking at the Navigator of the Seas and are wondering what this blank area is. Do you know if it is something to avoid? Wondering what the promenade view would be like in this area.
BND Posted July 6, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2022 More than likely a crew area of some kind. Stairwells, storage, etc. Maybe some mechanical equipment.

Or should we expect some issues?

They don't slam the doors when they are going in and out. We have never had an issue from any crew area on any cruise we've been on. 2

Not my first choice because it's connecting. If you need connectivity, put kids next to that area😉

Sunshine3601 Posted July 6, 2022 #8 Share Posted July 6, 2022 looks like your view of the promenade would be of Playmakers and/or the English Pub

Yep, I specifically chose a cabin on our next cruise so as not to be connecting which meant I had to compromise with a forward starboard location instead of midship port. We were in an OS on a ship across from such a "blank area" and it was the crew elevator. It was no problem at all.

Normally I stay away from connecting cabins.
