I found out why the items in the ship's stores are about 1/3 higher than regular retail

Do they stock perfume?

On Quest just now yes, but a very limited range. Lots of bottles of the same brands in different sizes eg Chanel No 5. I agree with Harrodsfan the shop is very very disappointing compared to even two months ago. No makeup or costume jewellery a very limited range of clothing but not all sizes virtually no logo branded items. I’ve about $150 left to spend and absolutely nothing ticks any boxes.
I wonder if they are going back to the old game of bringing out different additions each day. I will report back!

On our April Quest cruise they had a large selection of refurbished (second hand) Louis Vuitton handbags - priced from about $1000 upwards.  How ridiculous !  I did read somewhere that they are changing the company that operates the shops - does the lack of stock indicate the change is imminent ?

Related to shopping onboard and looking ahead since we will probably have $750-800 USD in OBC on the 2nd leg of our B2B (spent what I could on shore ex but poor choices for half the ports).   It is a 7 night port intensive cruise.   Sailaway at 6pm, next day 6pm departure, then 10pm, 8pm, overnight departing next night at 10pm and 5pm (last night).

My question, if departure is so late on 2 nights, are the shops open after that?  Does not look like much opportunity to spend that OBC if I'm not careful about the time

.

Even if there is a 10pm departure, the shops are usually open from 1030-1130 pm. 😘

Thank you.  Will require some planning.  I suppose I will have some ideas from the previous cruise to know what is on offer.

I suppose there's no longer any Casinos on board?  My wife and I lost about 25% laundering our OBC through the fruit machines on Celebrity - $100 in at a time, cashing out all wins (not playing our winnings), with money to take off ship.

No, the casinos have been gone for a few years now. The Den so much nicer in that space, but no opportunity for spending much money there now!
