togar Posted July 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2022 Hi, on our previous cruises we were given a thumb drive with our photos from the cruise. The photo packages on our Jewel of the Seas cruise are listed by number of Prints. Does anyone know if they give actually hard copy prints or a digital version? Rare RobInMN Posted July 15, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2022 Just got off a B2B. Answer: Nope. They are still old style. They print thousands of 8x10's, find yours. Keep one, throw away a dozen. No other sizes, no digital (I asked). I think the person at the photo counter sounded like she would way rather have the digital. You'd think that converting to digital, including installing a few kiosks (and there's space for them), that they would pay for themselves in about 4 cruises just by the cost savings of all the pictures they print and throw away. not to mention the additional sales you get from digital packages. It's not like they need to do a total remodel. The only reason we even took 2 photos from each cruise was because they were free as Diamond.
Surfguyxxx Posted July 16, 2022 #3 Share Posted July 16, 2022 I was actually shocked that they still had printed photos to look at. I had a photo taken and they didn't ask for my cabin number. When I asked, she said that you'll know who's picture it is by looking at them. Took me a second to realize that it's old school. 😅
