Rare dcl999 Posted July 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2022 Scenic has 2 cruises we are interested in. They are substantially cheaper booking on the UK website than the US one. Same cruise code, cabin, etc but at current exchange rates about $1500 or $2000 cheaper on the UK site. Has anyone done this? Any potential problems? Canal archive Posted July 27, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2022 The U.K. site include transport. I’m fairly sure we considered it with Australia some years ago but for some reason it wouldn’t work.
Rare dcl999 Posted July 29, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted July 29, 2022 I found the answer to my own question. The terms and conditions for booking offers, that little asterisk on the great deals, can limit the offer to a specific country. The general terms and conditions can also affect bookings. Canal archive Posted July 29, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2022 Of course! especially it’s what I usually advise people to do first. Some few years ago we did ask about an inclusion, prior to all inclusive, it was available in Australia but not offered in the U.K. and we had just returned from a cruise where we were almost the lone Brits amongst Canadians and Australians by the way wonderful cruise really helped by our fellow cruisers. Much to our delight we had it offered for free if we booked for the year.
