I can’t see quantum being in Brisbane for the 23-24 season.

Ovation is mostly sold out and Quantum is only half full for this coming season.

Apparently RC has told Brisbane they plan on a ship there year round but I don’t think it will be quantum.

My guess is quantum will move to sydney or Singapore next season.
And sydney for the 23-24 season will have Ovation and Quantum or this is a big guess,Ovation and Wonder.

Now they seem to have committed to Brilliance I wonder whether that will head to Brisbane and then have either Ovation and Quantum in Sydney or as you say potentially Ovation and Wonder.

Hopefully by the 23/24 season their will be a lot more confidence in cruises. While many cruise lovers are booking I suspect many first time cruises aren’t quite ready to pull the plug.

We did our first ever cruise from Sydney last weekend and I can see why people choose to sail from there. We are looking forward to Quantum in November but have booked all our other cruises from Sydney. We live in Townsville so we have to fly in anyway and it costs maybe $10 more for a flight each to Sydney over Brisbane.

It’s definitely one of the best sailaways in the world but I wouldn’t spend thousands more to sail from there (but we live in Sydney). But if it’s same/similar price would definitely prefer to sail from Sydney.

We are big planners and have booked cruises for the 23/24 season already, we have booked New Zealand for Jan 24 on ovation but was looking to book something for Oct/Nov 23, do you think it’s worth waiting in case there is major changes? I would have thought any major ship changes would have been 24/25 season

Just book it ,there will be a few benefits if they swap ships.

Usually about November/ thanksgiving /December is the best time to book something. From my experience prices are good and you can get $1,000 OBC.And you can carry that $US 1,000 to another ship if there’s a charge.

Royal Caribbean redeploys Brilliance of the Seas for 2023-2024 cruise season

Another Royal Caribbean cruise ship scheduled to sail from Europe in 2023 has been moved elsewhere.

Guests that were booked on Brilliance of the Seas for her summer 2023 sailings received an email today that their sailings have been cancelled…

…Starting July 28th, 2022, we'll automatically move your clients to the new Enchantment of the Seas sailing departing on the same day as their original Brilliance of the Seas cruise. They'll receive like-for-like accommodations onboard Enchantment of the Seas, and their amenities will remain the same...

I’m guessing that there'll be a lot of people who aren’t happy campers, er not happy cruisers. 🤪

People (including me, I’m a people) often don’t cope with the idea of change. Whilst DW and I usually book a guarantee cabin, I know others book early to make sure they get a specific cabin on a specific ship.

How do the ships compare?

Enchantment and Brilliance is about the same but brilliance is newer and better.

I think we see Enchantment leave the fleet soon. India or a Asian casino ship.

Brilliance is coming into the system.

The cruises that are coming up don’t have isles of pines, mare and lifou .

There was supposed to be some restrictions on those islands for capacity and that’s why a smaller ship was deployed.

They maybe getting ready to swap quantum for  brilliance???

I just mentioned to my wife that the Royal Loft suite was still available, and only $23,000. She didn't accuse me of male blindness, but a few other things.

I have worked with  royal caribbean cruise planner previously, someone who works at royal caribbean and you ring or email directly about booking your cruise. They have the same thing at Princess called a princess vacation planner. The planner I had previously is no longer there and I am having trouble getting hold of a new planner. I was just wondering if anyone here had a planner they were currently using that they could recommend  🙂

Icon of the Seas to IconOnlyWish of the Seas

Icon only wonder where they are getting the money of the seas.

Hello, I am one who has been affected by this change....I am def moving cabins as Brilliance doesn't have my cabin number....

Anyways, come someone explain the "new speed regulation" etc ie these ships have been cruising around for a while and now there too fast?

Thanks
