BigDoug Posted May 20, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 20, 2004 I recommend purchasing transfers from Carnival. They have motorcoaches waiting outside the terminals. The cost (back in March) was $16 pp each way. Very reasonable. There are Carnival Reps waiting at the baggage areas to meet you. You can purchase the transfers directly from Carnival or through your TA. DreadPirateRobert Posted May 20, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2004 Motor Coach is the way to go. We did it a couple of years ago and the cost was $15 or so. There was a group of us a bus and we convinced our driver to let us stop for "beverages" on the way to Miami. Pathetic huh? We just had to start getting into the spirit (or is that spirits) a little early. Windjammer Fantome May 1988 ? ljrfrm Posted May 20, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 20, 2004 I guess it really depends on how many of you there are. We have 5 traveling, so times that out by $16 and it makes more sense to get our own vehicle. For you, if there's only 3 you could go motorcoach, but still for $48 you can go with a group on a bus - but for $55 you can get your own Sedan. We decided to rent a limo- same price as 5 of us taking the motorcoach and I know my kids will be so excited. We're using Limos of Miami - Eric was great in responding and I've read good things about them. $79 plus tip. cantwait2cruise Posted May 20, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 20, 2004 We're going on Imagination June 17th! We're also flying to FLL. Will either do the Carnival transfers or maybe a private company. I'm a little concerned about doing Carnival tansfers on the way back b/c our flight leaves FLL at 1:20. The Carnival website recommends not booking flights out of FLL before 1:45. We may look into a private company, but also want something of equal price. The Carnival transfers are $32 roundtrip or $16 one way.
