We didn’t like him at all! 😁 Totally understand. Seems folks here either get in a groove with certain staff or not. Adrian was largely liked and was hoping to meet him some day but from a pp, seems he left. Now, if they could only clone Klaus a hundred times over, the world would be a better place.
RocketMan275 Posted August 13, 2022 #27 Share Posted August 13, 2022 I've been on nine cruises on four different cruise lines and I couldn't tell you the name of any of the cruise directors. To us, they're just background and not at all important to the enjoyment of our cruise. 6

We first saw David in holding area in terminal where a lady and son were hugging him and you'd think it was his mother. Once on ship, very few encounters from him but when we did it was a frown. I'm sure someone was hugging David Contreras. Possibly not cruised since covid and was giving him condolences since Davids father, Jose "Papi" Contreras was a beloved person with NCL. He passed away from Covid and I'm sure like we did, these people were showing kindness to David. Excellent concierge.

Should have specified my report was from 2018.
WhenIsOurNextCruise Posted September 28, 2022 #31 Share Posted September 28, 2022 I think I am correct in saying this is the first time since the Epic that will not have Adrian Bica as the concierge bringing out the new ship. IMHO, Adrian was the best. We sailed with him many times and he is amazing. We wish him all the best in his new endeavors. He will be missed. His sister, Christina, is still in management in the casino department with NCL. She is equally charming. Hopefully she will be helping bring out the Prima. We had Adrian on the Escape in 2018, by far the best concierge we've ever had. We were just on the Encore and John D'Souza was the concierge with Abby backing him up. They did a good job, but you had to push for it a bit. It just came natural to Adrian. I am looking forward to meeting David on the Prima in a few weeks.
