leftyofnorth Posted August 4, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2022 We visit Santa Margherita and the Celebrity site states we are docked. Can anyone confirm if the ship can dock in the small port, do they use tenders or do we dock in Genoa? We are deciding on a self walking tour or a ship tour. Rare marazul Posted August 4, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2022 Unless they buiil a huge pier in the last two years, it will be tender only in SM. The tender pier is only a few yards away from the ferry pier that goes to Portofino in one direction and to Cinqueterre in the opposite direction. euro cruiser Posted August 5, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2022 Why are cruise lines so incapable of getting their information straight? It seems to happen with all of them. On Celebrity's web site they state: The Santa Margherita cruise port is a tender port, and you’ll be tendered ashore via a smaller boat from your ship. The above was copied from this page: Santa Margherita Cruise: Best Cruises to Santa Margherita | Celebrity Cruises
