SuziCruises Posted August 19, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2022 The information Oceania just sent out says: ITALIAN AND GREEK PORTS: For all voyages calling at Italian ports, authorities mandate that all guests must wear face masks at all times when outside of their stateroom or suite except when actively eating or drinking while the ship is in port. Italian regulations mandate that guests wear a medical grade KN95 or FFP2 face mask. What's interesting is that there are other lines not requiring this. I have a friend now on another line doing Italy and Greece and she confirmed masks recommended but not required. Can anyone who is onboard now or has recently been to Greece or Italy with Oceania confirm they are enforcing this? I know things can and do change. zodiacsign Posted August 19, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2022 In June they were enforcing it at the gangway, for those going ashore, and some tour buses expected it. There were announcements on board, but few passengers masked.
roger b Posted August 20, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2022 Just finished a cruise Athens to Barcelona on Riviera they told us on th PA to wear masks but nobody did either in town or on the ship, I think you only need one for public transport or in a taxi.
Aloha 1 Posted August 20, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2022 Recently off Nautica. Same as above. Announcement made on board but nobody bothered to wear a mask and neither the Italian or Greek authorities cared whether you wore a mask or not.
