seapad Posted August 31, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2022 We are staying in the Yacht Club - Seashore, October cruise out of Miami. Our return flight is 6pm, so a long wait after disembarkation. It would help if we can stay on the ship at least until 10am-ish? Does anyone know how late the Yacht Club would allow passengers to stay onboard before disembarking? Thanks so much in advance! parallax Posted August 31, 2022 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2022 You have to be out of the room by 8:00. You can stay in the Lounge but not sure that they want you to hanging around until 10:00.
Rare Morgsmom Posted August 31, 2022 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2022 I would think 9:30 would be pushing it. They have to be at zero count before they can start boarding again (which includes those on a back to back).
rigs32 Posted August 31, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 31, 2022 Just as you wanted to board early on Day 1, so do the cruisers just starting their vacation as yours ends. Customers still has to clear the ship before they can begin turnaround.
JohnIreland Posted August 31, 2022 #5 Share Posted August 31, 2022 It's only in Europe they will let you stay on board late.

It’s also possible on the closed-loop cruises in the Lesser Antilles, as they are also not subject to US CPB. Dennis

Dennis Indeed, on all our YC Med and Lesser Antilles cruises we arranged to stay onboard through late afternoon and once early evening when we had a 9pm flight. It's a fabulous perk, and almost always we do it.
Rare Hlitner Posted September 1, 2022 #8 Share Posted September 1, 2022 In Miami, they usually kick us off shortly after 9:30. While many folks are willing to fight the lines and work up a sweat to be among the first off a ship we prefer to enjoy our breakfast, coffee, perhaps a last bloody mary, and wait for the crowds to clear. We can than stroll off the ship, easily find our luggage (among the few remaining pieces) quickly clear immigration/customs, and grab a taxi (or Uber) without any long queues. dexddd Posted September 1, 2022 #9 Share Posted September 1, 2022 We've done five and maybe they are just done with us but they were pushing us off asap. One VC perk is late disembark. That is one perk we've never enjoyed.
