Luvtoeat Posted September 28, 2022 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2022 Trying to determine the difference between cat 1A and 1B. Cant really tell from deck plan. Also some of the 1A cabins as example on deck 8 the balconys are on an angle see 8224, 26, 28 30,51,53,55 and 57. Are these bigger or higher premium? Greatly appreciate any information to help making a choice.
Wineaux007 Posted September 28, 2022 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2022 Yes, those are the staterooms with larger balconies. 8226 and 8230 on the starboard side are the largest (3x normal) of the four and have bed by the bathroom. On the port side, 8253 and 8257 are the largest, and have the bed by the balcony. The other ones are larger (2x normal) than those on the flat portion of the hump. wrk2cruise Posted September 28, 2022 #3 Share Posted September 28, 2022 The easy way to tell bed by the bath is if it has the sleeper sofa (square on the deck plan).
Luvtoeat Posted September 28, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted September 28, 2022 Thanks for the responses. Trying to decide between 1A on decks 7, 8 or 9. So the same angle rooms on any of the 3 will have the extra large 3X balcony?
wrk2cruise Posted September 28, 2022 #5 Share Posted September 28, 2022 All decks have the same size balcony in each position. 1st and 3rd from the widest part of the hump have the largest 3x normal size. 2nd and 4th about 2x normal size. Higher decks as well but I think they are C2 category and maybe A1.
TheHawk1 Posted September 28, 2022 #6 Share Posted September 28, 2022 Curious about the cabins at the very end of the corridor, adjacent to the aft sunrise verandah cabins, eg. 8345. They have a larger balcony than a standard cabin, but are they as large the 1A cabins on the hump?
Luvtoeat Posted September 28, 2022 Author #7 Share Posted September 28, 2022 I am getting confused. One of the previous responses says 1st and 3rd from widest part of hump have the 3x balcony but another response list the cabin numbers of the 2nd and fourth of the 4 cabins on each side of ship. Can someone please clarify.

If you are coming forward from the flat side of the hump, 8232 starboard and 8259 port side, the 1st and 3rd staterooms on the angle have the largest balcony (3x), while the 2nd and 4th staterooms on the angle have large, but only (2x). Same for going aft of the flat side. Does that make sense? Edited September 28, 2022 by Wineaux007

Am I correct? Yes, and aft of the hump, the angled staterooms 8252 and 8256 starboard side, and 8279 and 8283 on the port side.
Luvtoeat Posted September 29, 2022 Author #11 Share Posted September 29, 2022 Thanks again to all who responded. The reason that i was trying to get so much detailed info is that we received a Blue Chip Club offer for a free cruise and apparently even those cabins with the angled balconies on the deck plans are included. Just booked one of the cabins that were indicated to have the 3X balcony for less than $300.00 total price. Seems kind of crazy but the deal was to good to pass up. Luvtoeat Posted September 30, 2022 Author #12 Share Posted September 30, 2022 Just wondering how many people have gotten the free blue chip club cruise for the Florida sailings?
