vacation44 Posted January 11, 2023 #76 Share Posted January 11, 2023 So I did call to inquire about the "free" water. I was told that since our original booking was in April, we are not entitled to the water as the promotion was not running then. Ok. I can agree with that. However, I last re-priced in November when the water promotion was running and when you re-price, you have to swap your old promotions to the new promotions which led us to paying the increased FAS. So in theory, we should be entitled to the water. I was told no.

dbrown84 Posted January 11, 2023 #79 Share Posted January 11, 2023 For anyone that booked thru CAS and/or have the casino drink card, know that you can get these waters at the casino bar. Not the same as having them in your room when you board, but I load up on them from the casino bar and keep my fridge stocked.
PapaGoose Posted January 11, 2023 Author #80 Share Posted January 11, 2023 Hi Folks I am the original poster for this topic. We booked our Feb 2023 cruise in June of 2022. I guess that means we are sol on this water perk. That’s a lunch bag letdown! Now the dilemma will be whether we pre-order and pay for a water package before the cruise or wait until we are onboard and use some of our OBC from our TA and the Shareholder benefit. My understanding is the price has been the same whether you book a water package pre-boarding or after getting onboard. Has anyone found it to be different? Thanks everyone for your feedback so far!

That is correct on price being the same, but at least if you wait until you are out to sea you don't have to pay tax on it. That is what I do each time I cruise, I buy it on the first day, but after we are out to sea.
Escaping2016 Posted January 11, 2023 #82 Share Posted January 11, 2023 Check on your confirmation. I know I originally booked awhile ago and then called when the prices went down and it is listed on my confirmation that I get 6 bottles of Flow

I checked my nephew's confirmation, who I booked in November, and it is not on the email confirmation but is included on his summary page.
ChiefMateJRK Posted January 11, 2023 #85 Share Posted January 11, 2023 I didn't think this was a "new promotion," but rather a change in terms to the FAS beverage package. As such, I think everybody with that package should receive the six bottles. We'll soon have more actual reports

vacation44 Posted January 12, 2023 #89 Share Posted January 12, 2023 Just chatted again with NCL. Was told the booking period for the free water was from 9/14/22 through 12/15/22. And it does not include any re-pricing during that time. I said that does not make sense since if you re-book, you have to accept the new promotions at that time which would include the water. I was given another phone number to call. Also, when I heard about the included water, I do not remember reading it was for a limited time only. I thought, mistakenly so, that it was an improvement to the FAS beverage package.

PNWMomma Posted January 12, 2023 #94 Share Posted January 12, 2023 Based on seeing folks here indicating the water now shows up on their reservations I logged in to check it out. Ours now shows the 6 pack of water included times four. Our booking date was December 1, 2022. I only expected to see a two quantity indicated for the two of us with the FAS beverage package. Did not expect the kids would be entitled to them.

The "current" FAS is stating water, yet the upgrade doesn't? Weird. Not that it matters to me, since I have no use for the water anyways... Rare Redsky5292 Posted January 12, 2023 #96 Share Posted January 12, 2023 We had already booked our April cruise out of NO before we sailed this past July, I think we had booked it last Spring but I can't remember. While on board we rebooked as the Cruise Next desk gave us a better deal, and we took the standard Free At Sea perks. I just checked our perks and we have the six bottles of water listed as part of our package. We'll see if they actually end up in our room. delaware32 Posted January 13, 2023 #98 Share Posted January 13, 2023 We booked both in 2022.From what I understand the addition of water to the package was effective as of 1/1/23.Since our cruises are 2023 and 2024 respectively, they show as part of our beverage package.
