GMaCarolK Posted January 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2023 We will fly into Orlando and use the cruise line’s transfer to the pt Canaveral pier. Any thoughts about how to buy wine before boarding the ship? I am not a connoisseur; access to a grocery store would be effect. Also, does Royal Caribbean allow guests to bring soft drinks on board? In addition to the 2 bottles of wine per stateroom, you can bring on a 12 pack of water or soda

Corby114 Posted January 17, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2023 It depends on the security officers who check for contraband when you return to the ship. In most instances they will wave you through but sometimes they won't allow it onboard. Years ago on a Mediterranean cruise I purchased wine and olive oil on an excursion in Italy. When we returned they had no problems with the wine but they checked every individual oil bottle for prohibited items. They eventually allowed me to keep the olive oil.
