If you are prepared to take a very small risk and have fun at the sametime it's easy and perfectly within the rules to turn OBC into cash at Roulette. We do this on every cruise and have only ever made a loss (around💲30 over a whole cruise) once. 1) get 💲50 of promotional chips) 2) play 💲5 at a time in 💲1 bets with each chip covering 4 numbers - this gives you roughly a 50/50 bet. A win gives you 💲8 back. 3) Keep all winnings in one pile and only play with the promotional chips. Winning chips are real money. 4) once the promo chips are spent cash in the winning chips and walk away. Repeat as necessary until OBC is spent. Never chase loses. Try to play on a wheel with a single 0 You won't make a fortune but you will have fun and walk away with cold hard cash. 39august Posted February 3, 2023 #33 Share Posted February 3, 2023 There is no need to think X is not aware of this. There are instructions on how to cash out on the slots at the cashier's desk. There are also reminders to use up your nonrefundable OBC displayed in the casino toward the end of a cruise. The cashier will get someone to help you on slots if you need it. I use the roulette method myself. It is very well detailed by ThePenguins in #26 above.

We have no experience in casinos. Do you randomly pick 4 numbers for each chip? And do we get $8 for each $1 winning chip? Thank you.

Yes you are picking random numbers being careful not to have any "doubles" which increases the odds. You are placing the chips on the diagonal to cover the 4 numbers. If you download a sheet showing the number layout the following will give you an idea of one way of using your 5 chips. Chip 1 between 1 and 5 Chip 2 between 9 and 11 Chip 3 between 14 and 18 Chip 4 between 19 and 23 Chip 5 between 27 and 29. This is not a reccomendation just an illustration. You can change the spread each time or stick to one set of numbers the boss (Anita) usually sticks to one system for a one lot of 💲50. When you win the tradition is to leave the winning chip in place and just use 4 to make up the 5. Yes everytime you win you get 💲8. Hope this helps, good luck Geoff

There are literally printed cards on the cashier's desk that explain how to do it in an easier way with a room charge. I don't think it's a secret since they provide instructions to you. I follow a slightly different number sequence == 5-9 10-14 17-21 22-26 29-33 Sometimes when I am just having fun drinking and talking I'll bet the edge of the board for three six numbers across by placing a chip on the left hand corner of 4-7 10-13 16-19 22-25 28-31 You win less but you have only 7 or 8 (with double 0 wheel) numbers that you can miss on. When I get up using either of these strategies, I place a bet on 0/00 for a few spins. Last time on Silhouette, I hit 0 three times in a two hour session. Gave it all back the next night when 0 never hit once for me.

For slots, on the non revolutionized ships, you can only do it in 50.00 increments. You get a ticket from the cashier, put it (and your cruise card) into the machine you want and play. When you're done and cash out, you get a new ticket with that amount. Either bring it to the cage and get cash, or hang onto it play with it again. My sister spent 3 days with one ticket. She finally cashed it out for .05 on the last night. Edited February 15, 2023 by abbydancer
