ilionite65 Posted March 10, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2006 It seems that each ship has different dining times. Just off the Brilliance, Panama Canal, and main seating was at 5:30, way too early for our liking! We booked the Navigator for next Feb. and are considering changing to late seating. Would appreciate anyone that can tell me what time late seating is on the Navigator. Thanks! Pat
cb at sea Posted March 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2006 I doubt that the times will vary more than 1/2 hr. on any of the ships--at least, that's been my experience.
LindaandJeff Posted March 10, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2006 Late seating was 8:30 on the Radiance and most ships I've been on.
ilionite65 Posted March 10, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted March 10, 2006 Thank you for your replies. I think we would be ok with 8:30, have have read threads with references to 9:00. That might be a bit too late.
wrp96 Posted March 10, 2006 #5 Share Posted March 10, 2006 And don't forget. On Brilliance, late seating was actually at 8pm (which was absolutely perfect for me)!
pcur Posted March 10, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 10, 2006 9 PM is usually on the Med and European cruises, because it's more the custom in Europe to eat late in the evening, and a lot of the pax are from Europe. We much prefer late seating. More relaxing, and you can see the sail-aways from all the ports. The ship leaves 5 -6 PM, and that's when you're either getting ready or in the dining room for early seating.
