Rare Germancruiser Posted October 25, 2023 #52 Share Posted October 25, 2023 Oh- seems I forgot to mention, all swimming pools get scraped to the sheer metall- so totaly redone- from bottom up. That also needs to be done- I just saw the condition of the Polls on Deck 6 and 8 when they where closed and empthied out on the evening prior arriving in Hamburg. Ugh- the mint green colour- if they would such an outlandish thing- QM2 should be renamed in " Peppermint Twist 2" LOL.

On the other hand, while those in Q5/6s don’t have shower curtains, they don’t have walk-in showers either.

Safety glass is heavy, and times 1300 rooms that would potentially add a not inconsiderable amount of topside weight which the ship wasn't designed with in mind. 29 minutes ago, cook68 said: I have no idea if Kings Court has new furniture Seats and carpet look the same as when I was last on board, possibly the backrests have been refreshed?
