Rare IntrepidFromDC Posted May 22, 2023 Author #353 Share Posted May 22, 2023 This dog belongs to a British woman who retired to St. Paul de Vence. An abbreviated part of our conversation... me: how can such a small town, so difficult to access, be a favorite place to live? Don't you want to travel? Her: think about your question and even the way you phrased it. Me, after her beautiful dog immediately went to licking me 20 times in 5 seconds after meeting: omg he's beautiful and sweet too. Her: he loves as we all should.

Rare IntrepidFromDC Posted May 22, 2023 Author #355 Share Posted May 22, 2023 Back on the Highway To Hell, Samir was in rare form, if I was a cat I'd be down one life. I can see the indentations in the dashboard from my fingertips. But I can't feel my fingertips. 4

Rare IntrepidFromDC Posted May 22, 2023 Author #362 Share Posted May 22, 2023 So two clues... it's a human name, and look closely at the face. I'm afraid clue #3 will give it away too easily.

Rare IntrepidFromDC Posted May 22, 2023 Author #369 Share Posted May 22, 2023 On to the last stop of the day, a major disappointment for every single paying customer on the minivan except me (3 Australians and 2 couples from Texas), Cannes. The tour promised a chance to take a photo on the red carpeted stairway at Cannes, but it was all roped off because the annual event was happening. Samir was very excited about Michelle Obama having been spotted at her hotel. Anyway, as today fizzles out, here are the pics I managed to get from the front seat as we battled Cannes traffic. It was a great day with a not-so-great ending.

Lots of shopping and I think I heard a little grumbling, as the husbands had just heard an hour lecture on perfume. I'm glad I visited. The one bit of history, I think the guide (more about him later), in his best effort at English, said the reason the castle is missing from it's foundation but the town is intact is Louis VI sent soldiers to destroy the castle with a message to the townsfolk to change their allegiance to him, or they're next. Beautiful small town, but not a single sports bar (aka husband daycare for Jamman). Aside from the tourist shops, I could live in this town. The narrow passageways and plants/flowers are incredible. I got the same email from Carnival, and I think the TLDR was: "When there are so many of you, you're not that special!" My dog has heterochromia too.

Would have been considerate to send that email before the check in day 16 days prior on May 23. Some diamonds and Plats might have assumed that check in time slots would not matter because of priority check in being a normal perk.
