RCI also has a website I can use to look up all my offers. Thanks. So it would appear they offer a higher room type for sailings that are harder fill which makes sense. To my knowledge X hasn't done that yet

X currently only cares about your LAST sailings play to receive comped rooms. Some of us, myself included, believe they'll eventually mirror RCI's rules which only looks at your CURRENT sailings play and if you meet the requirements you're given a free cruise offer on your last night of the sailing Is there a point system to get the offers of a free cruise? How many points are required? I believe that Royal wants about 1200 points by the end of the cruise to book another comped cruise?
ptcflyer Posted August 15, 2023 #54 Share Posted August 15, 2023 I am excited that I was able to put together 35 days on the Solstice -- September - Seattle via Alaska, Hawaii, Tahiti to Sydney. All on Blue Chip Verandah or higher. Then we are sailing on Edge November through December 21 from Rome to Sydney via New Zealand. 28 of 52 days are on Blue Chip! We have a near World Cruise for 25 cents on the dollar. Since Covid, we have received 11 free cruises, 1 upgrade to Sky Suite, and earned Elite Status by being an Amethyst Craps table minimum gambler. I have received 10x comps to gambling losses. Unheard of in the gaming industry to get so much for so little. We have taken every cruise offered!

I have now sailed on 11 cruises free of charge and adding up all my W/L for these 3 years I'm down a total of $2470. 3x Veranda, 1x Concierge, 7x Aqua Class. That's a win in my book. I'm a lowly Amethyst, offers have been good until now. I guess I could use the interior cabin offers, try move-up to AQ and just cancel if it doesn't go through.

No one is transparent about the actual requirements that can change at any time and the other dynamic with all cruise lines is you can take a 3 night short cruise or 15 night long TA and they'll both have different requirements for the next free cruise. As it stands, on the tables about $25 bets for an average of an hour a night (can play 3.5 hours on two sea days if one prefers) does get you an inside room on X. On carnival in June, I was doing $50 bets an hour a night and that wasn't enough to qualify for any free rooms like it was in the past, only a % off

I don't particularly enjoy playing slots, but as you say, the offers are juicier, and you're able to properly track your points activity, unlike table games. Rare NMTraveller Posted August 15, 2023 #60 Share Posted August 15, 2023 Does time at the tables or slots count for anything? Or is it all about the dollars put in?

Or is it all about the dollars put in? Yes. Like most casinos they follow theo...I'll GPT Chat, I would recommend others do the same and if you don't understand something ask a chat bot: "Theo" stands for "Theoretical Loss," and it's a concept that casinos use to estimate how much money a player is likely to lose over time while playing their games. This helps casinos determine how much to reward players through their loyalty programs, like comp points, free rooms, meals, or other perks. Here's a simple breakdown of how casinos use Theo to rate players: 1 Betting Amount: Casinos track how much you're betting on each game, whether it's slot machines, table games, or any other form of gambling. 2 House Edge: Every casino game has a built-in advantage for the casino, known as the house edge. This is the statistical advantage that ensures the casino makes money in the long run. 3 Time Played: The longer you play, the more you're exposed to the house edge. Casinos take note of the amount of time you spend playing. 4 Game Choice: Different games have different house edges. Some games have a higher edge, meaning the casino expects you to lose more over time. 5 Average Bet Size: Casinos look at your average bet size per round. A higher average bet generally leads to higher potential losses. By combining these factors, the casino calculates your Theoretical Loss. This is an estimate of how much money they can expect you to lose based on your betting habits, the games you play, and how long you play. Remember, the Theo is just an estimate and doesn't guarantee actual losses or wins. It helps the casino determine how much value you're contributing to their business, which in turn influences the rewards and comps they offer you. 1
HateSnow Posted August 16, 2023 #62 Share Posted August 16, 2023 I don't know, I just booked a 7 day cruise aboard the Ascent in March 2024. This was a Blue Chip offer. In fact, the post card I received listed many cruises abord ascent, Beyond and Apex, all in veranda cabins. also offered were cruises aboard the Silouette, Equinox and Summit, all in Veranda cabins. Offers seem pretty good!!

Rare fryfrye Posted August 18, 2023 #72 Share Posted August 18, 2023 Just got comped into AQ on the Accent in March, was able to get 2nd room straight 50% off which is better than all of the current rates. Primary room is all inclusive with tips and classic drink package. I am amethyst level. Compared to the land-casino offer this seemed pretty great. Im not sure I understand the 10% free-play that will be loaded if that was based on coin-in or theoretical loss.

Thank you for posting that the comped Ascent room you booked in AQ INCLUDED Always Included. We just went ahead and also booked the Ascent for January in AQ and as you it comes with Always Included. The cabin is worth over $5,600 and we're only paying $331 for the cabin which is all in. Edited August 18, 2023 by kwokpot

We used the automated email which asks for first, second, and third choices of comped sailings and we never received an email or call back, even after submitting it a second time through the self serve email request form. The hold for a live person was only 15 minutes. this way you're assured whether your first choice date is available or not. Last year the self service email request form worked alot more smoothly.
