Szt Posted August 26, 2023 #26 Share Posted August 26, 2023 FYI- this is not an insignificant question at all. If you are booking a private tour or having someone meet you at the pier, knowing what time you get to them may be very important. it’s especially important for your last day as you may be trying to figure out flight times. so please don’t make people feel silly for asking. Ok, but then the question should really be when can you get off the ship, not the definition of arrival time.
Rare Hlitner Posted August 26, 2023 #28 Share Posted August 26, 2023 This is another issue that depends on multiple factors, especially if a tender port is in the mix. Folks on large ships can sometimes wait hours to be tendered ashore. Those on a small ship (we are talking about a few hundred passengers) will generally have little delay in tendering. And different ports can support different types of tender operations. And high winds, fog, strong currents, available piers, all play a role.
