My mom ordered risotto 708

 

 

I ordered roasted carrots.

That was fine. Nothing exciting but I'm not sure what you can do with carrots. 

 

Dinner has arrived 728.

 

We both got the pork filet wrapped in bacon. 

 

 

I also got the broiled cod.

Both were delicious. If I was nitpicking the pork was just a tad dry in a couple spots. 

 

The fish dishes have been uninspiring but the orzo saved this dish. Full of flavor that paired nicely with the fish.

 

For dessert I got the apple strudel and chocolate marquis 748.

At the golden lion pub waiting for the piano man to play. I know it won't compare to the piano bar but hopefully it's at least contemporary-ish music he plays. 

 

There is another pianist who is described as cocktail music, so hopefully this one will be what I'm interested in.

Struggling just a little right now. It's just piano no vocals.

 

My other choices are a string trio, cocktail piano, and recorded ballroom music.

 

I missed the theater production but it is Celtic which sounds interesting but idk.

It's a younger crowd than last week but certainly not a night life crowd. Even the ballroom dancing was poorly attended.

Maybe I misunderstood what cocktail piano music is. I heard vocals coming from the piano man in the commodore club. May have to check that out another time.

Opened a new bottle. This is sparkling wine, oj, and cola. Interesting combination, terrible smell, but a nice flavor.

After my snack I walked around outside foe a bit enjoying the crisp fall air watching the city lights fade into the distance.
