Heatherco Posted October 3, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2023 Is the Windjammer the only option for lunch on embarkation day if you don’t do a dining plan? Johnny Rockets? ‘We are sailing on the Liberty this week and just curious. Thanks so much!
mets123 Posted October 3, 2023 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2023 Also Sorrento's pizza and the cafe for small sandwiches. JR's is a restaurant you have to pay for, about $17.99 plus 18 percent gratuity.

It does on all ships that have a Royal Promenade. It doesn't exist on ships smaller than V class or on Q class.

torpeedo Posted October 4, 2023 #10 Share Posted October 4, 2023 Just got off the Liberty and Chops is open for lunch on embarkation day at noon. We had the UDP and I guess it's also open for lunch paying guests as well. Not terribly crowded and a good lunch to start the cruise. WJ was a mad house! Cruiser 5452 Posted October 4, 2023 #13 Share Posted October 4, 2023 Chops at lunch on Embarkation Day is a no brainer. Great lunch , no fighting for your food in the windjammer. Cost is in the mid twenty dollar range if you book ahead of time.
OCVTSGIRL Posted October 4, 2023 #14 Share Posted October 4, 2023 Sorrentos!! Whenever we're on a ship that has one, that's where we go. Its never crowded and we can sit and relax without feeling like we're hogging a table because people are waiting. I avoid the WJ on embarkation day.
