Not that I am aware of, but I didn't explicitly ask. They did offer me a bottle of frei sparkling wine, which I turned down because I had frei NA wine before once (on Silversea) and it tasted like sweet grape juice. No thanks. If you know of any good NA wines, please share them here. Also, you can always special request them by emailing Seabourn guest services a couple of months prior to your cruise. Yes, we do order special requests. However, I'm just hoping to find an alternative to the provided NA wines they have. And, those I've tried at home and elsewhere have not proven to be much better, all tasting like grape juice. Just hoping................there must be something out there! 😉

Always puzzles me that what's missing is a liquor bite to complement and contrast with the sweet, yet most mocktails just double-down on the sweet instead of finding an alternative contrast. BasandSyb Posted October 18, 2023 #29 Share Posted October 18, 2023 Have just spent a few weeks resort hopping in Thailand and the recent drink trends for cocktails/mocktails has seen some amazing experimenting and results - spices, chilli, cucumber, pepper, pimento, coconut, almond, lime - endless flavours and combos all delicious. We don’t like sweet and won’t have any syrups, soft drinks or diet anything. Every evening there was something new. Look forward to trying the new Seabourn offerings and putting the bar staff through their paces not to use premix (eerrk!)

And it’s the best NA rosé we’ve had nice, not like grape juice. We also recently purchased a bottle of Proxies, which is not a de-alcoholized wine, but rather an approximation of wine. Apparently it’s been created by chefs as a completely new beverage. One that has the flavors, mouthfeel, etc. of wine rather than a wine that has gone through the fermentation and then remove-the-alcohol processes. We have yet to try it, but will update when we do. jenidallas Posted November 5, 2023 #32 Share Posted November 5, 2023 Does anyone have any updates on this implementation? It looked like Odyssey and Encore both got it in October… but does anyone onboard the other ships have updates? I'm specifically interested in Ovation since I board in two weeks, but I’m sure others want to know about the remaining ships as well.
SLSD Posted November 5, 2023 #33 Share Posted November 5, 2023 (edited) I will be interested in hearing if there are mocktails made without carbonated mixers. While we do consume alcohol, we would welcome other choices when we feel we have reached our "healthy" limit for the day. Thanks to the new mocktails, the bartenders now have more zero proof spirits to work with. You can just talk to them to create whatever you want. For me, most of the mocktails are still too sweet, because tonic water has sugar, the zero proof spirits themselves have sugar, some of the mixers have sugar, and not to mention the syrup. I just ask for the least sweet mocktail ingredient mixed with sparkling water and/or lemon juice.
braidmacd Posted November 6, 2023 #35 Share Posted November 6, 2023 Two weeks ago in the TK bar on the Ovation they had bottle of Tangueray (sp?) Gin Zero. Had never seen this before. It was being used for no alcohol martinis. Ask the fabulous bartender Leroy about it

Very little added sugar is important to me as well--for caloric considerations as well as other reasons. Do the bars stock plain apple juice as a mixer? stan01 Posted May 30 #39 Share Posted May 30 Just saw another press release, has anyone experienced these zero alcohol drinks yet or are they still rolling out?

I think it’s fully rolled out; had it on Odyssey last October, and Ovation transatlantic in April, What I really like about it is how it adds more good base ingredients to the options. For example, there is a sparkling zero-alcohol wine called “French Bloom”; it’s an ingredient in one of the cocktails but they are happy to pour it on its own and its one of the best N.A. we’ve tried (bought some recently on Amazon). The “baseline” N.A. in the restaurants is horrible (Fre), but at Solis they had some better options (and in Restaurant if asked for properly). Otherwise, I can’t comment; most cocktails are too sweet for me, regardless of alcohol or not.
sfvoyage Posted May 30 Author #41 Share Posted May 30 The new mocktails have not been rolled out on the Pursuit (as of yesterday), but they do have most of the ingredients, e.g. Three Spirit Social Elixir, French Bloom LeBlanc, EverLeaf (Mountain & Forest), Seedlip Grove, Pentire Seaward, Optimist Bright, etc.
jjs217 Posted May 30 #42 Share Posted May 30 I tried several on the Quest in Jan/Feb of this year, and I thought they were quite good. My drink of choice is Jameson on the rocks, so I prefer drinks that aren't too sweet, and I don't remember them being as such. Of course people have different toleration levels. My suggestion is try different ones and go from there.
Robisan Posted May 30 #43 Share Posted May 30 Must confess I forgot what this thread was about and assumed "Zero @ Seabourn" was another of their genius marketing offers.

Now, if they only made a Bombay Sapphire 0.0. 😃

Sugar content is still an issue with most of these products: EverLeaf (both flavors) and Three Spirit Social Elixir are good on their own (just add sparkling water and/or lemon juice) but have added sugars. French Bloom LeBlanc is a somewhat drinkable sparkling wine alternative, but it is high in sugar and is nothing like champagne, more like a slightly posh sparkling grape juice. Seedlip, Pentire, and Optimist have zero or very low sugar, but they are practically undrinkable on their own and must be added to mixers, most of which will have sugar. I eat my fruit but don't drink fruit juices as they all have high sugar content.
