Rare jkbec101 Posted October 12, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2023 My wife and MIL are boarding the Prima in Barcelona tomorrow (10/13/23) and yes, I'm stuck working in SoCal. We got to talking because we couldn't find anything (and yes I used the search feature). Do non-Haven suite guests get anything close to what Haven guests get in relation to embarkation? So, for example, when we were in the Haven on the Epic last year, we arrived at like 9:45 and were on the ship by 10:00. TIA
IAcruising Posted October 12, 2023 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2023 I don't believe there are non-Haven suites on the Prima.

TIA When we sailed on the Prima in April, we got early embarkation because of our platinum status, not because we were in a suite. It is possible that suites get earlier boarding than non-suites, but it is certainly after the Haven and platinum and above guests.
Treacher1 Posted October 13, 2023 #6 Share Posted October 13, 2023 Yes there are NON HAVEN suites on Prima - booked a suite on front of ship with large balcony - we get a butler and concierge - can make dinner reservations prior to sailing by calling concierge - we just cannot visit HAVEN restaurant or HAVEN pool area. Made a HUGE difference in pricing - looking forward to it. We WILL miss the Haven - but it was no longer available. We were booked for Haven in March of 2025 - cruise was cancelled out of NYC by NCL. So we are going this December - but no more Haven suites were left since we booked so late due to THEIR cancellation - was lucky to get this. Suite is 11104. When we were on other NCL ships these front suites DID get Haven access. Not sure why they don't on PRIMA. We like leaving out of NYC - from PA so no air to pay for. THIS December cruise is a repositioning cruise - so we will have to fly home from Galveston. This 14 day cruise NOT in Haven cost us much less than HAVEN 11 day we had scheduled. VERY port intensive - 11 different islands - will be busy:)

(even guests in "front suites.")

The Epic also has Haven suites outside of the Haven: aft-facing penthouse, and haven penthouse suites (deck 14) with full Haven privileges. Edited October 13, 2023 by Girr Adding info. You *may* get invited to the Captain's VIP reception, but other than that, you need to "keep out" of the Haven.

A bit fancier, but not identical to the Haven. Unfortunately, I didn't take photos of them.

I was with some people without suites and decided to just wait in the regular line with them because it wasn’t long. They didn’t have my key card there and had someone escort me to the Haven check-in. I could have then stayed in the Haven lounge, but instead went directly onto the ship.
sjacobs11 Posted November 13, 2023 #13 Share Posted November 13, 2023 These non-Haven suites seem to be a big secret out there. We just booked one on Prima (the slide is adjacent to our balcony). Looks like you get most of the Haven perks, without being able to enter the actual Haven area. Does anyone know if your butler will deliver food to the Vibe? Looking forward to trying this Haven-"lite" option!
