MBP&O2/O Posted January 2 #1 Share Posted January 2 Does anyone know of a website that shows berth assignments for Civitavecchia? There are numerous sites which list the daily port schedules...ship, lay over times etc., but I cannot find a site that shows the proposed berth for specific ships. Experience tells me that proposed and actual can be somewhat different🙄 I know that berths 10/11 have a minimum depth of 7.7m and that the depth increases as you move upto berths 12, 13,etc. Is there any rhyme or reason as to where they berth ships? euro cruiser Posted January 2 #2 Share Posted January 2 (edited) Of course there is a rationale, but the harbor master is the one with all of the information on arrivals, departures, sizes, etc. Here's the schedule from last October, maybe you can find the ship you're interested in and see where it has been berthed previously? Even so, that doesn't guarantee anything about future locations. I got on a cruise ship in November on a day when there was no other cruise ship in port but we were stuck out at #25. It was not due to the size of the ship, my guess is that it's cheaper and easier to work from that older location than to staff and open up the new terminal for just one ship. But I could be completely wrong about the reason, we'll never know for sure.
