Turk1 Posted January 26 #1 Share Posted January 26 OK, booked Canada New England ( on wife's list). We board in Quebec City on July 3rd and then end up in Boston. Curious as to weather during cruise and what types of clothes we should take to be prepared (short sleeve, long sleeve, light jacket, etc) Plan on getting to Quebec City day before (7/2), board 7/3 and depart 7/4. Then 2 days in Boston at the end. 11 days. Thanks!

Your best bet is to look at the forecast a couple days before you leave and pack accordingly.

Canadian weather (and Wisconsin weather) in summer can go from 55 degrees to well into the 80s. 55 won't bother us, but you're from Texas so you may react differently. Weather is also changeable--rain, dry, rain, dry even in one day. Prepare to layer. Bring summer clothes but with at least one pair of long pants, a long-sleeve shirt, and a good sweatshirt or jacket. Rain poncho also highly recommended. Also, I don't know if you are aware, but there is a roll call for this trip.
skynight Posted January 26 #4 Share Posted January 26 It's summer. Mostly summer clothing. You will require long pants, cover ups like a hoodie sweatshirt, rain jacket, maybe an umbrella if you use one. The maritime Provinces can be cool on the water. Turk1 Posted January 26 Author #5 Share Posted January 26 Thanks. Sounds like a Texas Winter...change change from 40 in the AM to 80 by lunch. I'll check the roll c all.
Rare Lady Arwen Posted January 26 #6 Share Posted January 26 July in Canada can be very hot and humid, so be prepared. The Maritime provinces can be cool in the evenings. Of course, it can rain, especially if it’s humid. They get more rain than here in Ontario. I would pack for summer and take a raincoat and a sweater, a hoody or light jacket.
