djs263875 Posted January 31 #1 Share Posted January 31 My wife and I are platinum cruisers. We were originally going to take our upcoming cruise on the Jubilee by ourselves, but my Son (16) begged us to let him come and even cover his cruse fare and his sister's (13) fare so we decide to go ahead and book them on the cruise with us. I originally booked this cruise during the COVID days and got a steal on the room (less than $500pp Spa Cove Balcony). In order to not loose that rate we booked a cabin across the hall for my son and daughter. Something I didn't think about at the time was they are Gold cruisers so they do not have priority embarkation, debarkation, etc. My question is because they are in a separate cabin will they be able to board with my wife and I or will we need to stay back and board with them? I know in all likelihood we are talking a 20 maybe 30 min difference I am just trying to figure it all out in my head so I can prep the rest of the crew. Thanks for any insight. mz-s Posted January 31 #2 Share Posted January 31 Since they're minors they will actually need to board with you.
Rare ninjacat123 Posted January 31 #3 Share Posted January 31 My DDs always boarded with me and DH even if I was the only Platinum in the group. Now that my DDs are OLD (21 & 23 😉) I stayed up late both nights to get early check in. This last cruise DDs became Platinum. Mommy worked it like a job!🤣
