josephmz Posted March 8 #1 Share Posted March 8 New to Carnival. Are bar & general expense cards placed in stateroom? I assume the expense card can be used for fee dining charges?
Rare starstruck05 Posted March 8 #2 Share Posted March 8 Your sign and sail card will be outside your room when rooms are ready. Most ships it's around 1:30. Anything you charge onboard you use that card. Only time you won't need to show it for paid dining is at say the Steakhouse or Rudi's, etc. because they just charge you automatically. At say the Seafood Shack, you will need to show it because they charge on the spot when you order.
Rare sparks1093 Posted March 8 #3 Share Posted March 8 The sail and sign card is all that you need- opens your cabin and may be used for any purchase at any venue onboard.
cacruisin Posted March 8 #4 Share Posted March 8 Cash onboard is only used for casino and tipping, all other expenses will be on your sail and sign card.

A little clarification- your sail and sign may be used in the casino in the machines, you use it to set up you player bank. Additional tips for drinks may be added directly to the slip and that goes on your sail and sign. If you know the crew member's name and department you can give them an extra tip on your sail and sign by going to guest services.
